Description
decay of destiny is a spinoff of an illustration which i did for the cd cover of the danish band illnath. the wounded angel is also on the inlay of their first fullfeature album, only in a rather classic surrounding, and i decided to develop the idea and put her in a modern ambience.i worked on this compositing for a horribly long time, mainly because i really enjoyed the general look and therefore tried to make it as good as possible.

quality work. only thing for me is the light. i cant help it but the light of the angel and the background seems to be so different and unreal. either the bg should be lighter or the angel darker IMHO.

that is one wicked manipulation. i love the blue tones and the detail. what really stuck out was the shirt for some reason. it looks so natural and wonderfully created.

Though it's not perfect, it's definately very good.
The color is kind of monotone, but that somehow adds to the ambience.
The wing is too short, which is the main flaw in this image, from my point of view. It looks distorted or something like that. Out of angle.
The arm is obviously brushed over, but not clean enough (see the trace of the upper edge for example) ALso it looks very roughly smeared, below the armpit for example.
Therefor the kinda egyptan looking inlay in her arm looks great, it flows nicely into the skin.
The background is kickass, as always. As a matter of fact, the backgrounds are what I love most about your images.
There's a very industrial like look to it, pretty cool..
To sum it up: it's a cool image with 2 or 3 minor flaws, which are fairly covered by the awesome style of art around them.
