Batman: The Animated Series Batmobile.

This is my first attempt at some kind of wood working. It is something I would like to get into, along with a lot of other things, and it's very cool and fun to do. How I got started on this was working on my nephew's Pinewood derby car for his Cubscouts. I found it pretty interesting to do, so I went out and bought a block of wood. Not being a smart fellow, I bought a wrong kind of wood to work with, so this project has been a bit of a frustrating thing for me. The wood I was working with was a bit wetter then the regular Pinewood that the Scouts use, so everytime I Dermal part of it, the shavings would clump up and I would have to spend a moment trying to just clean the thing off. Eventually it took shape, for a long while it wasn't shaping out so nicely... but once I got the paint on it, it looked like the Batmobile to me. It's uneven, painted poorly and in a bit of a skilled woodworker but you know what? It's mine, I made it, I'm proud of it because I worked hard on it even if it isn't perfect.

Unfortunately the camera made everything a little fuzzy except for the side view where you can truely see the imperfections.
