I thought id try my hand at some fan art for a change
ive been uber busy with my uni work, and wanted to do something for myself its 3D rendered in maya, then coloured in photoshop.

yeh maya is a great program. never used blender, but you should def have a go at it...it can be sourced on the net if ur the law bending type

hehe it is 3D mostly like i said, its rendered in 3D and i overlayed the colouring in photoshop to have more control and so i didnt have to mess around with lighting.
yeh, i liked the mouth too, i really wanted to get that bit looking like he does in the episodes.
dont worry about voting, i didnt christmas'ify it up in time for the deadline as i was too busy with other animation work, so it wasnt a proper entry anyway

since the colouring is flat, it might have been easier to do a render with flat shading, then just multiply the clay render over the top, and save you a bit of work in the process

yeh tiz true. i was thinking of doing that but duno...felt i might have more control in photshop, should i shoose to change it later or do some lighting stuff if i fancied. duno really. was quite quick all the same using this process though.
