I have the opposite experience; when I was a kid, I would lay in bed for hours and not be able to fall asleep. But now that I'm older, I sleep easier than I ever have in my life!

Thank you so much for writing this! I love this poem. I read some of your others, but I can really relate to this one. I've had trouble falling asleep since I was little, but, as I got older, it got a lot worse. A lot of the time I feel just like this, wishing I could still fall asleep like I used to be able to.

this is true, I lay in bed and end up thinking about something as I stare at some random point on the wall or ceiling and next thing I know its 3/4 in the morning. So good job, this is so true.

Oh I know how that feels all to well. Lil kids are so lucky they can sleep all through the night and be all energized come morning. But when you get older it seems you can't do that anymore.
