Description
This is a wedding present for one of my best friends who's mad about Buffy.As am I.
I've been working on this for the last four weeks with an interruption as I was on holiday in Cornwall this past week. Which was lovely as summer decided to actually turn up. So it was extremely hot and there were beaches and sea. Yay!
So yes, many many hours as I wanted this to be as good as I could get it and it's the first time I've really finished something and been almost 100% satisfied.
And I did a proper border and everything.
Wacom, Paintshop Pro, Photoshop and the poster on my wall for reference.

Student...you are a master. I can't even do half that good. I want you to teach me to do that. Wow! I also thought it was a photo. You are definately a great artist. You should be in a gallery. I am serious you should put some work together and get a show in a gallery. I have a aquaintance in Ireland who is good and she has already had an exhibition. You definately could get one with any original work you do. Do you give tutorials if so I want to learn from you.

yay buffy i love buffy, been a fan scince 1992 after seeing the original film. Me and my neighbour would play in out front gardens and we new it word for word. Guessing you could say i'm rather mad about it.

I would suggest studying anatomy, and not photography.... stop drawing directly from photographs and draw from life.
if you do this then you may one day create something that can be revered as great art... because the path you are on.. with not get you there...
worry about understanding why things are dark and light.. and form... and dont worry about finish and polish.
I understand what you do takes alot of time.. however I hope that you think about and not dismiss this suggestion so quickly

The feeling of perspective is nice, i have nothing against colors. well, I really like to tell u that u have an oil painting feeling. If you try to paint some one from real life in such quality in oil i guess u will make alot of money. May be u do that already.
