In the year 1954, a decade after the booming of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the US military had been a experimenting with hydrogen bombs, but during these tests they awakened something. After the tests were over Japanese fishing boats started disappearing in the Pacific Ocean and some would wash up in the shore completely destroyed. Eventually US fishing boats and others from other countries would go missing and nobody had figured it out why, but they would soon know. In that same year a large semi-aquatic reptile emerged from the seas and attacked Tokyo, Japan. It rampaged throughout the city at night and then before dawn it ventured back into the sea like a phantom. The world was dumbstruck, this was the sort of thing that could only happen in a science fiction novel. The many people of Japan named the creature Gojira, (Godzilla in English) after a giant mythical sea dragon from Japanese mythology. Godzilla was soon tracked down by the Us navy and was found out to be heading to the west coast of the US. The American military prepared for the worse but still nothing worked and the beast went up the west coast destroying everything in its path. Eventually a Japanese scientist named Dr. Seizawa approached the UN with his weapon, the oxygen destroyer. The UN approved and before Dr. Serizawa set off he destroyed all of his research and blueprints for the oxygen destroyer, fearing that in the wrong hands it could be used to start a war. Soon Godzilla was tracked down the Dr. Serizawa, in the dark depths of the ocean activated the oxygen destroyer and took both Godzilla’s and his own life, taking the secrets of the oxygen destroyer with him to the grave. As for Godzilla the oxygen destroyer dissolved his flesh and only left a pile of bones. Thanks to Dr. Serizawa’s sacrifice the world was rid of Godzilla, but little did everyone know that this was the beginning. To this day Godzilla I or Adam as he has been nicknamed is being held at a K-Force facility and is being studied.
