The original meme knowyourmeme.com/memes/what-pe… uses photos but I thought it would be fun to draw pictures
Haven't seen it done before, but if I know the internet it will have been XDYes, this is supposed to be me, I really have bright blue hair permanently, and a lot of my time is spent hunched over my computer XD
Thought this might be of interest some Deviantarters as everyone seems to have different opinions and perceptions of your art. This is a bit of a lighthearted take on the anime side of things
When you say 'artist' some people think 'hobo' when you say 'anime' some people think 'porn' There are a lot of different perceptions, some good some bad, all interesting.
I'd be interested to hear if you've experienced any prejudices or odd perceptions of your artwork or of you drawing
Edit: heh, didn't expect quite so many people to vibe with this XD
'Anime Artist' was punchier that 'artist who takes influence from the anime style' I've developed a more semi-realistic style recently, but went more classic anime look for this
Though of having a 'what real artists think you do' panel XD
It's not a moan, generally people are really interested and supportive even if they haven't heard of anime before, but everyone has pre-conceptions about things and this is just my amusing take on that XD

My main issue when it comes to society is when it thinks it is a good idea to put impossibly large boobs on their females. I'm not jealous at all. I don't like it due to how it is not only a fetish, but also highly irrational and illogical. In real life, people with insanely large boobs the size of basketballs would snap their backs in half or something with some form of nasty injury.

I can't deny that. as far as misconceptions go about my work there's not a lot of them. simply because I'm a straight forward dark poet. but with what little feedback I get there are some interest takes on my work

Once there was a little girl called Clarissa, she was ten-years-old and she lived in a mental hospital, because she killed her mom and her dad. She got so bad she went to kill all the staff in the hospital so the More-government decided that best idea was to get rid of her so they set up aSPECIAL ROOM to kill her, as humane as possible but it went wrong the machine they were using went wrong. And she sat there in agony for hours until she died.
Now every week on the day of her death she returns to the person that reads this letter, on a monday night at 12:00a.m. She creeps into your room and kills you slowly, by cutting you and watching you bleed to death.
Now send this to ten other pictures on this one site, and she will haunt someone else who doesn't. Once there was a little bitch known as HanamiRabbit, she was 6 years old and lived in a rat's nest, and she likes to post fake chain letters. She got so annoying, she went to post chain letters on big name work so the DA Staff decided that the best idea was to get rid of her so they set up a special room to ban her as quick as possible, but the machine they used went wrong. And she sat there in boredom for hours until she was banned.
Now every day on the day of her banning, she returns to the deviations she hasn't posted on on a Monday night at 12:00a.m. She sneaks into the deviations and post chain letters very quickly by copy and pasting the same letter everywhere.
Now send this to no one. This is very fake. Apparently if you tell Hanami to fuck off ten times in the next ten minutes, you will have a very meh day tomorrow. You will either get a small raise or not have to do homework. She was coming back to delete the messages. But she finds a freak called CheetoJasper that calls her a "bitch".

the "What I Think I Do" portion is my personal conception of artists in general. My hands have been too shitty for me to ever hope to draw, so I only paint pictures with monochromatic symbols (words).
