Description
The only light she sees falls through a boarded up window, it's warm but faint, only 5 thin lines.... 5 thin lines... the same as the music she used to write, she smiles, what an opportunity, grabbing her pen she creates a symphony in her head.
A piece about how inspiration can come from the strangest of places, and how we should keep an open mind to creating our own world.

Shes been trapped down there for weeks now... zombie apocalypse they say, shes not coming out to find out if they're the kind from Walking Dead or Left 4 Dead. She has enough food and water but just needs some inspiration...

Innovative idea.
I really love the twinkling golden dust, almost like magic dust, floating in the air.
While I like the detail of the grass growing in the corner to make the area look run-down, the grass looks oddly cartoonish/unbelievable in this scene. Perhaps if you shaded the grass, and/or added slight golden highlights (reflected light?) it would make it feel more right in this picture.

I really struggled to see what i can give negatively about this piece except the girl could possibly be more defined than blurred as it seems and the arm seems a lil bit too curved like the forearm curves? And maybe a few more cracks and plants comging through the floor to make the floor feel more uneven as it seems too perfect? but that's about it!
Positive:
It's so well drawn i can just see the real room! The idea is great colours they all match well the sunlight looks like real sunlight with the little dots in the rays of light like you see the dust. The story is interesting. There's so much detail on the wood and walls
Summary:
Great piece just don't forget to make things less perfect and mre random with some of the detail so it gives it more character and by this i mean more cracks etc.. put it in amoungst the musical notes would really reflect your skills as well take it all to the next level there's so much realness in this one great job!

I love all the music ones you do they are soo good! I will def have to buy this one! If you ever wanna Jam you on Piano me and aocustic guitar lemme know

those are some awesomely inspirational pics. like a visual mnemonic they just reach out and grab you. I'm currently blockaded from actually putting things into paper for some reason. it's nice to see and feel all the overwhelming inspiration still abounds.

I love this! This piece does a great job showing that inspiration can come from anywhere. It's almost surprising where even the most seemingly insignificant things can be an inspiration to someone. Your painting is very dramatic in it's contrast of light and darkness, and that really helps this painting. The color is beautiful as well. I don't really see anything about this painting that could use work, and I think you did a great job!

Amazing~! I already go nuts when I'm alone in my room (nine out of ten I'm supposed to be making homework, but then it's like: picks up homework, makes an assignment, puts books down again, "Okay, I'm bored.", and then I just start to doodle away.).
So If someone would take away all my drawing stuff during a zombie apocalypse, I'd do anything to find at least a pen or pencil and use the walls of my house as "paper".
