Love that quote and is very true in my circumstance. Tough times are hopefully coming to an end soon... In my last pic: there was nothing physically stopping her talking, however this one is a truer representation to what I'm going through; being muted. Not being able to share things and having to put on a smile. Not because I want to but because I have to. This is the same girl two years on...
My apologies for bringing emotional things here again, perhaps because I can't talk about it it gives me the urge to draw it, either way its therapeutic, its a help

They remind me of myself because that is kind of my everday life. I think I'm inspired by you not only because of your AMAZING skill, but because we kind of share experiences. All my favorite artists do! Sometimes I think they stalk me... Lol, JK. Anyways, always know life has it's shitty moments, but in the end, if you let it, it will turn from a deadly hurricane, to a beautiful rainbow. Or something like that. Keep up the awesome work!

I really really love this piece and concept. I feel a lot of us every day hide behind smiles the pain we feel. But as I'm older now, I know that pain is only temporary and there is always something bright waiting in the wings for us.

Yeah.. I agree with you here. I have no idea what you're going through or why you are muted, but I do know how it feels. And somehow, that fake smile convinces everyone, and the tears are truly invisible. Even if we do show it, no one would understand anyway... But we still have to hold on, stand up and stay strong. Show this world that we are up for these challenges.
It's sad. And hard. I know. I don't know about you, but I believe God will make it better for us one day. It's much easier and less painful this way.

This picture means a lot to me, I know how it feels to not be able to tell people what you are going through, sometimes because you can't for various reasons, other times, because it would hurt the people you love too much if they ever knew your pain. I know how it is to have to put on a fake smile while feeling yourself slowly tear apart to nothing on the inside. This is really inspiring, and you put hard and beautiful situations people go through in these magnificent spot on pictures. I hope my art can have as much of a meaning as yours does to people someday!

Please dont be so sad. Please find and seize your happiness. No one else can tell you who you are and what to do. I know from experience it may be hard to simply find happiness and life if though. The sad thing is for some reason the best people seem to suffer. I know it sounds harsh but you cant rely on someone to come and save you one day. Dont hurt yourself. I wish I knew you i would no doubt be your friend.

The point isn't that you should hide behind a fake smile, it's that you should stop hiding and get someone's help. Of course, you shouldn't go around, screaming your problems to the world and stressing people out, just find one person or a few that you trust, and know will try to help.
