This is for my friends and family that keep asking how is it I do these.

My answer "Layers, and lots of them!" XD

Actually this image only had about 15-20 layers when finished, it had many more layers but I frequently merge layers since gimp does not have folders for layers. "I can't wait for Gimp 2.8 and it's implementation of layer folders, yay!"

But yeah, nothing special. A bit messy actually when you break it down by it's layers.
