Description
Rebuilding the Torva platebody has been more work than I remember from the last one, but no less enjoyable. Made from 16 gauge steel again, this redesign has been modified to allow MUCH better movement than the old one. I did not show the shoulder patterns here, since I haven't built them yet, but I will be posting a picture that shows (somewhat) how this armor should look when it's done.

Here are the changes made over the old design:

* Made the arm holes larger
* Made the back of the body as a 2-part unit, to allow greater flexibility
* Added a curved side to the top of the back, for a more tapered look
* Improved sizing of parts on the chest
* Improved size of neck area to allow for a better fit, and less trouble putting it on
* Minor modifications to the shape of the metal plates to prevent them scraping so much paint off

(PS, The image on the right is the back and front parts together. As you can see, they create a much nicer taper effect than the previous design: Torva MK1 )
