Description This is a commission done recently for a fan. I videoed myself during the ink and marker rendering stage and made a speed video so you can see the piece from start to finish as well as a video tutorial slowed down that gives a tutorial on rendering her face in marker. If nothing else, I hope you at least find it entertaining.

Awesome marker tutorial. I've been wanting to find one since I'm just learning Copics. Do you use a colorless blender ever?

I'm by no means an expert, but from my experience the Colorless blender actually works like an eraser to lighten up areas that you have already have inked. If you work at it enough it can remove mistakes or do effects.

Thanks! I don't use the blender because I don't like what it does to my marker work. I just tend to work wet and keep blending with the regular markers.

Just curious - but how quickly do you burn through copics? They don't seem to last long...

A full marker can go for a bit but I'm a heavy blender so I burn through them. Luckily they're refillable so I don't worry to much about how long they last and the refills are good for around 7-8 refills.

I've only seen the markers available at stores (Michael's Crafts)... where does one go about purchasing refills and how much do they run?

Thanks for the info.

I feel a lot of the gesture is lost in the inking process.
