This is a scene for Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer 3: Rudolph’s Reign. Belle was disqualified in the Reindeer 500 race for the legal use of a glowing red nose, Rudolph tried to tell the elf coach Ace that he can’t kick Belle out of the games. Belle was so upset that she was gonna run away. Rudolph told her that she’s a misfit like him.

Belle: But why didn’t you tell me, Dad?

Rudolph: Listen, Belle. Your mother is a misfit too, well kinda. Because she knew I had a red nose and it was okay with her

Belle: Yeah, but. What about it?

Rudolph: Look. I was bullied by other fawns that were jealous of me, the whole world was against me. Even with your grandfather (chuckles) he was embarrassed of me when I was born, but when Santa chose me to lead the sleigh. He told my mother that he knew my nose would useful someday.

Belle: So what? Are you saying that I’m a mistake for having a red glowing nose?

Rudolph: No, it’s not that. It’s because I didn’t what you to run away like I did

Belle: Why?

Rudolph: It’s because I didn’t what that kind of life for, Belle. My friends were misfits too, Hermey was an elf and he wanted to be a dentist. I still dunno what a dentist is yet, and with Yukon Cornelius. Well, he was a prospector and he’s still looking for silver and gold

Clarice and Neil come to Rudolph.

Clarice: Look, Rudolph. I’m sure she didn’t mean it, she was just upset that’s all

Rudolph: No! Every time reindeer stuff happens, I’ve learned the other way. This is our daughter, she’s right to hate me because (sighs) I didn’t protect her

Santa: Well, someone has to find your daughter

Clarice: Why?

Hermey: She’s headed to the Mountain of Doom. Where Bah Humbug lives

Rudolph: Oh, no. This is my fault, my daughter is in danger because of me

Schnitzel: Don’t worry, Rudolph. I’ll help find Belle

Fireball: Are you sure?

Schnitzel: Trust me, Pops. Belle is my best friend, and I loved her ever since the day we met

Rudolph: He’s right, Fireball

Fireball: Okay, then

Schnitzel: Thanks, Pops. (gallops to get Belle) And if I need a little backup, I’ll go get you guys
