“All right, class, stop fidgeting. I know this is distasteful. The state still requires that we do it if you want to graduate. I’ve complained numerous times and we are always refused an exemption. Just remember, we aren’t the same as them. These aren’t our babies we’re cutting up – we’re a different species. Just… well, a related one. Try not to think about it too hard; this week will be over before you know it and you’ll never need to cut up a fetal pig again, or smell this awful odor of formaldehyde. I’ve been teaching this class for years, guys – you can get through it. I believe in you! Now, if you’ll look at the board, you’ll see where the first incision needs to be made, on the ventral side…”
