Well this is just as cool as the original. This is done with the ever popular Terragen and Gimp2. The light ray is the gimp32 effect basically a few overlays of the origiinal. Pretty cool effect coul have done better if
I had more skill with 2d software. Thanks to ~Chrissi 's idea I've finally decided to put a sunbeam in.

The original is located here. Devils Thumb 1200bc which is an actual mountain here in Alaska, Or i mean Canada. Which over looks Alaskan costline. Both a not really precise render but very cool .
