Description
Ported to OBJ and further modified by me from the original creation by Starforce Productions, with the copy I have being the port for the video game Star Trek: Bridge Commander (BC). Preview picture posed in XNALara XPS. You can download the BC port of the original from GameFront, although you will have to port it yourself if you need this in another 3D model format (HINT - any NIF model converter of plug-in/import script or tool for your preferred 3D software should work). Here's the link:

As with all things, the Dominion didn't mess around when it came to building auxilliary and support craft for their space fleet. This is an image of two different versions of the same class of first line Dominion transports that were encountered during the Dominion War. Not only was it quite large but it was also very heavily armed in comparison to its Alpha and Beta Quadrant contemporaries, so much that it could easily hold its own against small combat craft and smaller space warships -- so long as their numbers stayed down, that is. It shared certain features with some of the Federation transports from the TNG/DS9/VOY era and this has lead some to conjecture that the Dominion might have copied them, although more objective analysis of the available data tends to work against this (Hodgkin's Law, similar environments and circumstances yield similar results).
This was spotted in two slightly different versions: one with four warp engines (the Starforce original - ed.) and one with only three warp engines (my mod - ed.). We don't know which came first, although we know the significance of the difference. The three-engined version was capable of a full planetary landing and liftoff but sacrificed some of its cargo hold space for retractable landing gear struts and storage. The four engined version was spacebound only and maximized internal cargo hold space with the total absence of the three-engined version's landing gear. Both had their uses and each was preferable in selected situations, which is why the Dominion used both.
We don't know when this entered service nor when it left, nor do we know the class name. The only other things we know was that it served the Dominion well during the Dominion War and continued to serve them for the rest of the TNG/DS9/VOY era.
This is fanon, although it's good fanon IMHO and for me helps to fill an otherwise glaring gap in the Dominion space fleet lineup.
"We go into battle willingly to reclaim our lives. This we do gladly, for we are Jem'Hadar. Remember, victory is life."
ASIDE - Now you have something more military in terms of a space transport to use with the Dominion alongside those canon Karemman freighters! XD
