An enigmatic and mysterious warrior from the eldritch realm of Naetra Yaer. Daemon belongs to an immortal race of demon-esque beings known as the Yathuka. These yathuka are unkillable undying beings, incapable of being completely destroyed. The concept of death to them is alien and incomprehensible. Due to their immortality, a yathuka can continue to function and fight no matter how grievous an injury becomes and can reattach lost limbs instantly. The only way to destroy a yathuka is by targeting the soul, however even that is an impossible task except by the most powerful of magic or higher divine beings. To counter this and deal with rivals, dishonorable yathuka often dismember and flay defeated foes, burying or hiding each part of their body in the far corners of Naetra Yaer to prevent them from reforming, and leaving them in a perpetual coma-like state.

Visually Yathuka culture bears resemblance to a mix of real-world asian cultures, as well as a mix of Indian and Middle-Eastern. Yathuka culture itself revolves around warrior combat, war, and perpetual conflict. Due to being undying unkillable immortal beings, grudges and slights often last for innumerable ages leading to Naetra Yaer being a wartorn realm. Often time yathuka will challenge each other in honorable combat for status, constantly seeking a stronger challenge and punching up. Though the higher one is, the more enemies and challengers they have. So long has the realm been in conflict that the time before perpetual war is completely forgotten by all denizens, this period of collective forget is referred to almost mythically as the Forgotten Dream and also includes their exact origins and early history.

Daemon is one of the greatest of warriors in Naetra Yaer, an extremely deadly cold and cruel swordsman, who like many simply wanders the realm constantly engaged in combat. He wields a unique power referred to as the Venomous Flame. This purple fire is often channeled into his blade and burns and sears the flesh and soul, leaving behind lasting poisoned wounds. Against fragile mortals the flame is often fatal, and can lead to the death of the soul. Daemon has on several occasions been pulled from Naetra Yaer and summoned to Vir, where he was bound and conscripted by the Tyrant King Draegon Thalls. Willingly serving at first for potential challenges, he was quickly unimpressed by how much weaker mortals were and disappointed that they died. Though with the eventual fall of Draegon, Daemon was free to finally return to Naetra Yaer and continue to participate in endless combat.
