I rather enjoy this shot, Aaron... while yes, there are two people, the overall size of the shot gives me an overwhelming sense of solitude.

It looks like they are enjoying a conversation. I find it easy to think that the couple is having a good conversation, rather than an argument, based on their environment. If it were me, I would forget about any argument and be very happy and content with the sights and sounds that would surround me.
