Nusantara The term is used to describe the Southeast Asian Archipelago (modern day Indonesia, Philippines, Brunei, Malaysia, Singapore, Timor Leste).
The term was coined earlier in 1275 as Cakravala Mandala Dvipantara by Kertanegara of Singhasari .[4] (present day Java, Indonesia). Kertanegara envisioned the union of Southeast Asian maritime kingdoms under Singhasari as a bulwark against the rise of the expansionist Mongol Yuan dynasty in mainland China.
The above legend based on Tantu Pagelaran or Tangtu Panggelaran, an Old Javanese manuscript written in the Kawi language that originated from the 15th century Majapahit period.

Ah! I did find some Naga or dragons on about Visayas ^^ well the western Visayas that is there are the Bawa, the Bauta, Mameleu or Mamelen or Nanreben,and Marcupo or Macupo of Hiligaynon mythology. Sadly these dragons have no pictures or writings to describe them
Since the Bakunawa is from Luzon and the Minokawa is from a Bagobo mythology in Mindanao I just went on searching for Visayas ^^ hope this helps.. Or not xD

Bangsa can also be translated as the race(you know racial). But yes, it's Nation/Nationality.

Some of these words are very similar to tagalog!
Lamig= Cold(we have different words)
Init= Hot(though Lasu means hot in Waray! Which is my second language thst is ^^)
Patay= Dead(ours is patay in the meaning of dead, though we also use the word namatay(dead) and mamamatay(die))
Multo= Ghost(or sometimes Aswang)
Isda= Fish
Palay= Paddy(different words but the way of pronouncing it is almost the same)
Tatay= Father ( though we also use 'Tay to shorten it, but I use Papa though)
Ina/Nanay= Mother(we have the same meaning and word ^^ though we also use Nanay sometimes or Inay)
????= Coincidentally (I actually don't know what is the tagalog word for it)
Nakakatawa= Funny/Hilarious
Inom= Drink
Sarili(?)= Suang(what does Suang mean in english xD)
Kunti= A few/A little
