So here it is, cosmic frostbite 2, the result of 4 days of work, experiment, successes and failures.
used 3d studio max and photoshop
about 200 layers in photoshop (i shit you not)
and.....i need more ram!! (computer memory)
3 source files were created.

The whole explosion thing really hurts my eyes, and I would suggest you strongly revise the composition and colors of this piece, and it looks like the texture on the ships could use some work.
