"Today we commemorate this statue in honor of our beloved Senator Chakigashed. Thanks to her efforts, legislature was passed that prevented the continuation of needless war in our system. She personally funded relief efforts that saved the lives of hundreds of our own citizens as well as many others in times of peril created by the war. She used her office as an opportunity to help those in need, to defend the weak, and to promote peace in throughout our system.

As is tradition the pedestal on which her visage sits is carved in three layers. On the first layer are the names of all her living family members: her son Tethricamos, her daughter Bet'hemosa, and her mother Valmethrosa. On the second layer is her title of senator, the title which she held at her time of passing.
And on the third layer, in bright red siris'due ore, as is tradition, her name Chakigashed, so that we may always remember the sacrifices she made for our people.

Chakigashed was a kind and lovely senator who always put her people first. May she always be remembered. It is now our duty to follow her example and uphold her way, to always put each other's needs before our own, to always work toward helping others who have less than we do, and to use our given station to the fullest, no matter what it may be."
