Awesome picture man. Its so detailed and crisp. I dont think anyone but God could paint something so beautiful. I think that the green background and the leaf it is on really make the picture complete. This is a good lesson in perseverance given your limited shooting choices. I have tried to get pics of butterfly a couple times and they have never really turned out. Great job and thanks for sharing.

very nice focus, colors and dof .. only things i find a little distracting is the green leaf which sticks in at bottom and an odd black square from middle right to bottom

Ah, this is gorgeous! I love the contrast between the background and tips of the wings. The light is captured perfectly! We're hatching painted lady butterflies in my kindergarten class - now I'm excited!
