These are the fountains right outside of old town Nice, France. I shot this pic at first to show my parents/family what was right outside of my apartment while staying in Nice, but since it reminds me so much of the great atmosphere in Nice I use it as a desktop now too. Thought I'd share... I was trying to get a shot where the leaves, fountains, and old town Nice were all in focus... This is as close as I could get to that...Related content

Thanks bro, I kinda felt the same about the leaves... I wanted to try to show that the fountains were in between two areas, without taking the shot from the side... Maybe if they were not as far into the shot, or even if I was lucky enough to find some for each top corner... Thanks again for the advice.

Good shot man. I think (for me anyways) that the leaves on the left are a good touch to add a bit of framing and more dimention to the photo but I think they encrouch a little bit to much on the photo. They are a little distracting because they make a bit of a black area at the top left there that blocks out the top of one of the fountains. You totally had the right idea though. I quite like the other qualities of this photo.
