Winter Maiden (real name Katla) is an ice themed superhero that hails from Iceland. She was a librarian that made the mistake of opening an ancient Norse book that was infused with dark runes, resulting in her being cursed and gaining powers that allow her to manipulate ice and summon snow storms.

Her design and appearance took some cues from Scarlet Witch from Marvel and Elsa from Frozen.
