Description

Buckwheat kept to himself and the pack, mostly, naturally reclusive and a notoriously quiet creature but in strange lands and with the well-being of the pack on the line—most importantly, the pups'—he ventured beyond the comforts of his domain to see if there was anything he could gather that'd benefit the lot of them.

And he may have just found it.

He crossed Auriole's path by chance, happening on the wolf perched upon a rock when she called out to him, ringing one question:

"Are you from Valgard?"

To say they hit it off would be an overstatement but the pair managed to have a fair conversation with Buckwheat discussing briefly the circumstances of Valgard's current state and learning that Auriole came from a pack dubbed Selcouth.

They parted ways when the sun began to dip in the sky, bidding one another rather amicable goodbyes, and leaving Buckwheat with the slight curiosity of if he'd ever meet the salt-water scented she-wolf again.

Fun little collab with who did the wonderful sketch/composition for this piece while I did the lines, colors, background, and shading! Thanks a bunch for working with me ^^
