I was listening to this song while playing shaddup!
What? When I play as Gold, I always try getting everyone's numbers.
Especially the Ace trainers. Like after a battle, I'm always like:
"GIVE ME YOUR NUMBER! GIVE ME YOUR NUMBER! GIVE! ME! YOUR! NUMBER!"
When they don't, I run circles around them and fly away.
SILVER, WHY WON'T YOU GIVE ME YOUR NUMBER!?!?!?!?!
(I think he shouldn't because I'll keep spamcalling him, but I want to hear his voice!! ....um....That was Gold...not me......SILVER WHY DON'T YOU LOVE ME!?!?!?!?)

I wanted Silver's number too.
But now I just bother him at the Dragon's Den on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and let him challenge me to rematches on Mondays and Wednesdays. Can't get enough o' dat Silver.

haha, I know. And when he apologizes for getting in the way. Gotta love the assholes that make a transformation towards the end. Like Paul in the anime, thanking his PokΓ©mon at the PokΓ©mon League.
Haha, you should've seen my face when he refused to battle Clair, the "embarassing one in the costume", and said "COME TO MY SIDE. WE'LL BATTLE LANCE TOGETHER." I then proceeded to swoon when he saved my ampharos in battle.

LOl I loved that battle, but his Pokemon all fainted, so me being the Super Sexy Protagonist I am, I saved the damsel in distress and his pokemon, and defeated Lance and Clair with my Ampharos~
I know, it shows they warm up to you, and then we become friends! And live happily ever after with all the Pokemon, like what N wanted!

Yeah, he was super lame in that battle, but as always, ampharos pulls through for us <3
And yeah, I love it. I just wish you could find Silver on weekends, and that he'd have more to say that "Whew. Learn to stay out of my way" in the Dragon's Den. Beating the game has its downsides. Only having a few lines of dialogue left with my favorite game character.

I know!! Like on the weekends, if we know where he lives, we just go to his house, while he's resting, and mess with his things. I wish there could be more events with Silver. Kinda like when you go back in time and see him talking with Giovanni.
Of course, cause Ampharos, is THE BEST!

That Celebi event was super cool. Sad though. But I'm glad we got an explanation of why Silver is the way he is. Kind of like the whole Brandon/Reggie thing that explained why Paul was the way he was.(Gotta love dem obscure references)
And I would totally mess with his stuff. And lock the door. >
And yes. I have this problem where my ampharos always ends up being a way higher level than the rest of my team, just because it's so useful against so many PokΓ©mon.

Same here, I keep rematching the gym leaders to level up my Feraligatr to be the same level as Ampharos.
And never leave his house ever....

Seriously. Just stay there the whole time. When he leaves, THAT'S when I'd mess with his stuff.
And actually, Paul is Silver's anime counterpart. I've observed it carefully, and there's too much evidence to deny it. What I think is that they couldn't find a way to make Silver's story work in with the anime, since in the anime, Team Rocket never disbanded and Giovanni never had a humiliating loss to Ash, so they couldn't work it in there, you know? So instead of making Silver, whose dark, aggressive, power-obsessed personality stems from his father giving up after one pathetic loss to Red, they made Paul, whose dark, aggressive, power-obsessed personality stems from his BROTHER giving up after one pathetic loss to Brandon. AND, you know how Silver rethinks his methods after what the Champion, Lance, told him? Well Paul begins to rethink HIS methods after what the Champion, CYNTHIA, told him. Also, they look very alike, and their official anime artwork shows them in the same pose. They both like to say "stay out of my way" and call people weak. I could go on forever, there's too much evidence. But I'll stop there for now. I mean, they're not technically direct counterparts, since their names are different, their appearances aren't identical, they don't have the same exact history, and they're from different regions. Not to mention, Paul isn't the type to steal PokΓ©mon. But I believe that they're counterparts. Even if not that, Paul is DEFINITELY based on him.

Oh, believe me, so do I. Silver himself has only appeared in the anime for 3 seconds. And it was only in the Japanese intro to the Legend of Thunder.

haha. That would be so cute. I'd mess with him until he woke up, and then enjoy it far too much when he shoved me for being a creep.
And it was just a Chronicles special. They couldn't simultaneously make an entire anime of just G/S characters while they made the regular anime, which focused on all regions with the protagonist everyone had already grown to love. But I would've REALLY enjoyed it if they had made a couple more episodes focusing around Jimmy and Marina and whatnot, just to establish his rivalry with Silver without necessarily delving too deeply into his character and background. Like Jimmy's cyndaquil losing to Silver's nidoking, and then beating it as a typhosion? That would be so cool to have seen an episode about that.
It's really too bad they had to make Vincent a character from NB Town. If they hadn't made him, or at least not made him pick one of the startesrs, then maybe Marina would've gotten chikorita instead of totodile, and we could've seen Silver with his Feraligatr.
