Description
I've wanted to toonify a variant of "Eleanor" for ages now but couldn't find an interesting enough photo. I eventually found something that might work and thought it'd look different if i charicatured it first, so i chopped the photo up and blew some parts up to create the effect. I then set about cleaning the whole thing up by tooning it (followed the style of my "Fabulous RX8").Really happy with how the car came out, but completely lost the plot when it came to presenting it
Enjoy.
*Updated*
Well i had a comments which made me realise how little effort i put into certain parts of this piece. So i've created this updated version.
Thanks to BunnyReaper from Digimods for pointing out how flat the rear rim looked. I think it looks much better now. And thanks to all who basically said "Look donni, this really as good as it should be"

Yep. Better with the new background and tweaks. Yummy looking paint got even better looking against the blue.

That's so sweet!!! Looks really tough! Your details, shine, and shade look cool. I like that tilt on the rear tires too - tweaked in on the bottom. After staring at it I noticed the front tire thickness varies a little much. Very cool. Fav'd for sure!

Well spotted. I knew that it was going to be a problem right at the start of the project. Due to the way i had layered everything up, changing the shape of the tyre would mean editting all of the car body layers. So couldn't be bothered Thanks for the kind words.

Really great car-tooning. Your squash-stretch effect looks perfect and the treatment of the silver paint is masterful as always. I should try one of these, though my latest radical aero cars are almost cartoons. Anyway, really great work, but as you say, you should go back and tidy up the presentation some.

Yeah you're right. Enough people have said how much of a let down the presentation is that i 'spose i've gotta do something about it. Will get a nicer version sorted and posted. Thanks for commenting, critiquing and faving

db mate thats just evil.... I thought for a moment you had actually finished the vector of Eleanor that you were doing. lol
However, until that arrives, the tooned version is very cool. Would look great on a tshirt.

Heh, thanks mate I don't think i'm going to finish the non-charicatured version to be honest, it was just a little too boring. Need to move onto something new now

I would have used one of the new Shelby GTs myself, then again, you're better at this than I would be any day.

Well i had a photo which was a Mustang with the kit already on it from the company that makes the kit, so i just used that instead. It probably would look nice on the GT though
