Very good painting, although contest doesnt tell me anything (might be related to creating a custom race, that's what I guess after watching entries quickly), this gives some nice vibes and ideas.
This is a bit sad image, although at the same time it gives a bit hope; looks like the world of concrete can bear life, after all 
Might be just my imagination, but maybe this illustrates the world after human race has left it? I have got used to your nature&human -themes, so this guess is only natural I think.
Good luck for the contest! Winning isnt important, but I think your painting has good aspects; it continues your line of works in a natural way. Usually I prefer works which can "stand alone", if separated from the contest. I hope you understand what I mean

Also the anatomy of the lady is awesome, it really brings out the intent on her face, and for me wierdly enough adds to her mystery

This is really a pretty piece as artwork! I love the background colors being toned down to the highlight the character, really works well.
The design too is really well done! Relatively simple in concept (I mean this in a good way lol, just in case that came out wrong), actually plausible (in my head) but still very very effective!
I dont know why but I get an ominous feeling from her D=
