You know... something that always bothered me about the Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed games is that, neither AltaΓ―r nor Ezio ever get splashed with blood during the fighting, which isn't very realistic, on the other hand, EA/Bioware really went too far with Dragon Age and the whole 'drenched in blood 24/7' thing. Can't they find a midle term? XD

Seth-Cypher In reply to Keiyan [2010-11-22 15:41:36 +0000 UTC]
Well it wasn't like blood was spraying everywhere when you kill someone most of the time. Also, Ezio does get blood on him, it just isn't too eye obstructing as it is only on his hands and sleeves and whatever weapon he used to demoralize his opponent.

Keiyan In reply to Seth-Cypher [2010-11-25 10:59:35 +0000 UTC]
True, not so much blood spraying, and you're right I had all but forgoten about the hands, sleeves and weapons. Guess it must be because I haven't played the game in a few months.

"whatever weapon he used to demoralize his opponent."
That made me lol so hard XD That was such an awesome choice of words.

I know you can get blood on a broom, how much more demoralizing can you get?

Altair doesn't get blood on him, but Ezio does; a bit in AC 2 and a little more in AC: Brotherhood. When you stab people with your hidden blade, blood gets on the tip of his sleeves. Blood also sticks on your sword and clothes now. Well, not permanently (that would be asking for too much at the moment, especially with the amount of detail in a sandbox type of game), but at least it does for a few moments.

Right it makes sense they give the game a more realistic touch. I get that the blood doesn't stay (it doesn't either on Dragon Age) it's there and in a few seconds it 'disapears' but to be honest I didn't remember Ezio getting his sleeves dirty anymore. Can't wait to get my hands on ACB!! Maybe today I will!

Keiyan In reply to emerald-moonlight [2010-11-29 10:59:02 +0000 UTC]
I bought it!! On that day just like I said I would ^^ Been playing it, but I was surprised by the new 100% synch thing. Now unless we get 100% on each mission/sequence we can't unlock certain things >.>;; it's a lot tougher! But that's not necessarily bad XD And there's so much more to do on this game O.O I most afraid of the multiplayer mode, no idea how I'm going to avoid being 'serial killed' lol

emerald-moonlight In reply to Keiyan [2010-11-29 13:17:45 +0000 UTC]
DUDE!!! Awesome! OMG! I finished it! Seriously so epic! Yeah, the 100% sync was quite hard at some parts, but provided more challenges.
Though, amazingly, I managed to do them all!
I hope you have fun!

Keiyan In reply to emerald-moonlight [2010-11-30 15:14:18 +0000 UTC]
Already finished? Me I'm taking my time on this one, since the game can be finished in under 20h unless we go slow, and since I need to repeat certains sequences sometimes to get 100% synch it takes even longer, but I'm loving every bit!!!!! Rome is sssooooo BIG! It's really great that they made it possible for us to ride horses everywhere and that sewer tunel thing is also cool, provided we have enough florins to open them all lol I'm only 20% into the game, haven't had much time with college and work, but like I said, I'm not in a hurry ^^ although I'm dying to see Leonardo again! XD
PS: The puzzles for the 'truth' files seem harder too, and getting all 101 flags is giving me a headache lol

emerald-moonlight In reply to Keiyan [2010-12-01 00:31:09 +0000 UTC]
I wasn't really in a hurry, but since I'm on vacation, I didn't really have anything else to do. XD The puzzles aren't that much harder, I believe, just slightly different. ^_^
Gah, you have no idea how many times I've repeated certain missions just to get 100% sync. XD

Keiyan In reply to emerald-moonlight [2010-12-01 14:19:51 +0000 UTC]
I know what you mean @.@ some missions are just so irritating lol Turns out I was only getting started on sequence 5 now (I hasn't sure anymore lol) the only good news is that I'm fairly rich and my assassin's (9 I think) are making a name for themselfs XD but all those chanlenges we need to do to raise all the guild ranks, sometimes I don't even remember them, get quite a few by pure chance XD
PS: The broom is indeed a fearsome weapon, who knew O.o it's also the only one in which I can actually see the blood >.< eeeck

emerald-moonlight In reply to Keiyan [2010-12-01 14:27:13 +0000 UTC]
Dude, the broom... I totally agree with you there. XD One of my most fave weapons.
π: 0 β©: 1
Keiyan In reply to emerald-moonlight [2010-12-02 16:04:47 +0000 UTC]
Seriously why spend florins on new weapons when you can get free brooms XD I'm a little worried about gathering civilians to become assassin's, I only have 9, and I can't find anymore of them now. I just started sequence 6, will there be more civilians to save from here on? I need 25 total >.<;; (I only have 3 borgia towers left to destroy).
Getting all the borgia flags is also a bit tricky, since quite a few are actually inside areas we can't revisite unless we repeat a mission, and they're not always easy to see. (Especially since some areas don't even have a map). Any advice?
π: 0 β©: 1
emerald-moonlight In reply to Keiyan [2010-12-03 00:20:12 +0000 UTC]
Oh, be careful with your civilian assassins. Once they die, you can never replace them according to the Ubisoft team. D: Yeah you'll be able to save more civies, once you destroy those borgia towers.
As for the borgia flags, you just have to be real persistent with them. D: And yeah, repeat missions if you have to. But I'm pretty sure that somewhere near sequence 8, all of the levels would be accessible anyway (except for those romulus shrines... you really have to repeat the mission for that).

Keiyan In reply to emerald-moonlight [2010-12-03 21:21:31 +0000 UTC]
Thank you so much for the info! Yes I was worried about the civilian assassin's, since they can die just like the soldiers, the key is to use arrow storm as much as possible and avoid having them fighting directly, that and making sure any assassin's we send on a contract have 100% chance of success. Although I suppose it's still possible that they'll die somehow >.<
Good to know I won't have to repeat every mission those missions just for the flags. The one that's bothering me right now is actually a secondary memory, where we must destroy the Tank without taking any damage >.<;; That and the primary mission in the Barrack (sequence 6) when we need to not lose any health, but I keep getting hit while trying to close the gates >.>;

emerald-moonlight In reply to Keiyan [2010-12-04 03:34:02 +0000 UTC]
OMG!!! Those 2 missions... The tank and the Barracks bit were one of those missions I kept on repeating just to get a 100% sync. So painful!!! XD
π: 0 β©: 1
Keiyan In reply to emerald-moonlight [2010-12-06 10:41:41 +0000 UTC]
The Barracks mission I can deal with, but the Tank... pff, it will take a freaking Miracle for me to get 100% synch on that!! One hit, just ONE and you fail. Honestly, Ubisoft was a bit retarded on this mission. It just strains our patience.
However, I'm enjoying the Cristina missions, they're nothing special but I keep wondering how they'll end.

emerald-moonlight In reply to Keiyan [2010-12-06 11:51:31 +0000 UTC]
Lol, good luck with the tank mission!
Yeah, as simple as they were, the Cristina missions were special in their own way.
