Prince Dastan from Prince of Persia.There's a scene in the movie where he stabs himself with the dagger to prove its power.
In the movie he collapses the moment he stabs himself but wanted him to suffer a bit longer

Meh, they may have changed some things from the original game and turned it into a movie. Based off those changes they make a different version... or that's how I see it anyway.
