I've never really played Metal Gear, but I do love playing as Snake in Super smash Bros XD.
Anyway, lovely work here.

There is significance in the watermelon.
One of the begining cutscenes shows him being chased by miniature Metal Gears (Gekko). When they losed sight of him, they saw this box in front of them and smashed it.
But there was nothing in there but watermelons.
Snake was hiding off to the side against a wall using his "Octo-Camo" (Siute that blends into any wall he sidles up against.).

That is my favorite scene in Medal Gear Solid. I havent really played the game just watched but it was the only time some on that game didnt piss me off.

I only watched my brother play Metal Gear Solid 4 and though it wasn't my kind of game (being a rpgamer) it still was kind of cool. Especially his weird ass ninja friend...but yeah if I were him I would totally go for that watermelon there...

I love the expression on his face. It's as if he's telling whomever is watching him whitout permission that their likely to get killed, very swiftly, if they don't get lost lol There's not enough love for old Snake I think so thanks for this ^^

This is amazing. You captured the environment, his armor, his kickass eyepatch, and the watermelons. I'm just really amazed by this work so I'll just sit here and stare at it some more since it is just that awesome...that or I'm high. :3

You did such an amazing job on the stealth suit and making him look his age! I adore the metal gear series. MEtal gear was my first ps1 one game when i was like 8/9 and since then i've been obsessed with the series.

Awesome series. I love stealth games like this. So much more realistic than running around with 8 billion health mowing down everyone in sight. The story line was amazing as well <3
