A sudden explosion of reality,
A mirror shatters.

A ceremony is held,
Celebrating what once existed.
A reality that is no more.
A story that has come to its end.
A soul passes though the gates of heaven,
Leaving its former body hollow and without emotion.
Guilt no longer exists.
Tempers fly.
Rage emerges.
A silent scream.
And the world stops turning.
Questions arise,
And doubt becomes common.
Everything is target to the brutal barrage,
Of answerless questions.
Clarity disappears as the fog of hatred
Makes the obvious obscure
And the truth a lie.
Past becomes present,
Future becomes past.
Tomorrow dies down,
As chaos erupts.
Agony spreads throughout the world.
Peace no longer exists.
Doomsday has come.
And for that last meaningless second,
The world stops turning.
