- added version 4 visual style. Yeah baby... it's a 1px border VS... now with small little circles as caption buttons!
Use Windows 7 Aero Blur Tweaker to remove the ugly blurry window edges! NOTE: I can confirm that latest Firefox and Thundebird work perfectly with this 1px border VS... the usual bug is NOT present!

- added version 3 visual style with dark grey opaque taskbar. This pushes usability even further. Now you can use any wallpaper you like without having to worry about the taskbar's transparency. My favorite version yet... Enjoy!

- added version 2 visual style: 28px height taskbar (small icons); 43px width taskbar icons. From experience this brings more usability to the theme. Yes, there's no Start Button in the preview... here's how to do it: dpcdpc11.deviantart.com/art/Re…
- redesigned the taskbar thumbnails to better match the theme.

TIP: to stop the damn glow effect of the icons in the taskbar, Go To Computer>(Rclick)Properties > Advanced settings > Performance > Settings: UnCheck Animations in the taskbar and Start Menu

How to:
1. Patch your system files and install the required fonts!
You must patch your system files before you can use 3rd party windows themes. Use this tool to do it: www.windows7download.com/win7-…
2. Install the theme?
Copy the content of Theme folder in "C:WindowsResourcesThemes" (Asuming that you're Windows 7 is installed on partition C)
3. Change the start orb?
Use Windows 7 Start Button Changer to change the start orb. You can find this tool here:

Launch Windows 7 Start Button Changer and choose the BMP from the "Resources/Start Orb" folder and you're done!
4. Change the Windows Navigation buttons?
Use Windows 7 Navigation Buttons Customizer to change the Windows Navigation Buttons, resources available in the folder "Resources/Navigation Buttons"

5. Smooth Fonts like in OSX or Linux?
Use mactype, the little app which changes your font rendering engine to make the fonts smooth just like, or almost like, in Linux or MacOS.

how did you get the google chrome icon on and working on the taskbar? it used to work for me but now if i click on the custom one a new duplicate chrome icon shows up with the normal google chrome icon

I know what you mean.. this happens with the portable version of chrome... do you use the portable version? if yes I can reveal a little trick to make the icon stick without opening an additional one.

i downloaded from www.google.com/intl/en/chrome/… and its in my C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application and the file is chrome.exe not sure if this is the answer you were looking for

I see... that's not the portable version so you should not have a problem with the shortcut on the taskbar.
remove the shortcut and make another one of the original EXE, then change the icon of the new shortcut.

my computer seemed to be crashing ALOT with a custom theme do you know how to fix this? ive just uninstalled all the things by system restore so i can check if the theme is the actual problem (gc still making duplicates i just reinstalled that too i have no idea whats wrong with it) but yeah is there something to fix the crash

from my experience the crashing of windows has nothing to do with a custom theme, specially if it's a professional one. I never had a windows crash with my themes.
how is your PC crashing exactly? BSOD (blue screen of death)? Or maybe you get a specific error?

i replied to this 2 days ago but as soon as i hit submit apparently my computer crashes so it didnt get through TT TT/ yes the themes are gone 100% now its been nearly a week after the crash that deleted my reply it hadnt crashed for 5 days until today while i was trying to uninstall itunes its the BSOD i did a scan with kaspersky but unfortuneatly its an older paid version that wont allow me to upgrade..it did detect some trojans(?) and removed them though..

BSOD sucks! Try using NOD32 trial and clean your computer... then also install SpyBot files.spybot.info/spybotsd162.…
you might also have a hardware problem... if the BSOD persists after the cleanup, reinstall windows, and if that doesn't do it then take your computer to some IT service company or something.

A theme pretty much completely clean and elegant, and you use your creativity to develop a different theme, simple and very beautiful. Well the original idea of the buttons "minimize", "maximize" and "close, as well as loading of the icons on the taskbar. Very Good!!!

It's gorgeous! My only complaint are the (I think they're called this) caption buttons. They're a little small, I feel they should be a tad bigger or something. I know it's not any harder to be pressed, but it feels awkward, if that makes sense.

about the caption buttons, their size was not randomly chosen. From my point of view the size is just perfect... I've tried various sizes of course and this one was the best choice.

I don't understand what you mean... are you talking about the missing search bar in the Start Menu? If so, then you must know that it was removed visually intentionally for design purpose but it's functionality is there... just start typing something.

I hate it when i open a program that uses lots of memory and i see the msg "The colour scheme has been changed to basic"...
And then the taskbar becomes black the windows blue etc...it looks shitty

I honestly love this more than any other VS I've ever used. I just have one little qualm, I love the close/minimize/maximize buttons in V4, but the dockbar in V2. Is it possible to combine the two?
