he wanted to drink to try to get his mind off of things
Moe gave homer some thing to drink
homer sipped it And he wrote barts name into it because he missed him
moe was cleaning a glass but he was distracted because he saw the sadness in homers eyes
moe: homer, what’s wrong?
homer sighs
homer: n..nothing...
moe: are you ok?
homer: yes I’m fine....
moe: are you sure? Do you need another drink?
homer: no....
moe: what’s the matter?
homer starts to cry
homer: it’s just....my son Bart is gone....
moe: gone?what do you mean he’s gone?
homer sheds tears
homer: he was murdered....
he covers his face with his hands and cries
moe: oh.....I’m so sorry to hear that homer....
homer: oh it’s not your fault....I wish I was there to save him....ooh I’m a terrible father....
moe: it’s ok homer ...here come here....I never do this to anybody but come here...
moe hugs homer
homer hugs him and cries
