GOD THIS TOOK FOREVER TO EDIT

Ok so because Hiro is an au version of Pidge I only felt it would be appropriate to edit one of her refs and edit it into Hiro. The hardest part was figuring out how to do his paws. His legs are robotic cause he lost one to Sam and had the replacement and his other leg cut off cause this dumb ass pulled a Kuron. His legs are made entirely by Isamu and Brendon so the chances of him going rogue again are very low. I'll make a proper ref of him later cause his legs are kinda digitigrade. I still love my electric son in the vld art style though.

past/bio:

Hiroshi was born to Baltonian parents and was abandoned on Earth. Hiro was left in Japan, given the appearance of human(Specifically Japenese so he would blend in) to avoid being captured by the Altean empire and being used to produce energy. He was eventually taken in by a local orphanage and was later adopted by an American family when he was about 2 years old. He was given the name Hiroko Denki Suzuishi. Hiro lived a normal life, mainly being perceived as a tomboy. Eventually, when he was 13 he eventually came out as trans. His family actually took it pretty well and began guiding him in the right direction. He was enrolled into the galaxy garrison once he reached the age of 14. Before he left, his parents gifted him his first binder just so he was more comfortable. He met most of his current team during his time at the Garrison. He was there for about a year before he was cleared to go on his first mission. He was selected to go on a quick test mission to Kerberos as a first-year junior Engineer. He was sent with two senior officers (Sven and Tsuyoshi) and second-year junior Engineer(Isamu). Fortunately, once they landed they were captured by the Alteans due to them picking up a Baltonian signal from their area.

The crew was assumed dead by the Garrison. Truth is, they where being held captive and where being investigated. All 4 of them where being prepped for Hoktrils. The Alteans where pretty relentless to find the Baltonian on the team. Hiro was the first to receive the Hoktril. Before it was placed in the group was rescued by Akira, a half Altean rebel that had infiltrated the Altean prison. One of the needles from the Hoktril had broken off and stayed in Hiro's head for a long time. The team along with a rescued Galra seamstress named Gianna was basically crammed into a small Altean cruiser and taken to a galra base ship left on an abandoned planet. Akira had explained that he found it several months ago, believing it was abandoned. They were to use it as a shelter until he could return them home. Once the arrived, it was basically core reality Voltron from there. They found two cryo-pods inside. Akira opened said cryo-pods, revealing Romelle, another Altean rebel, and Lotor, the fallen Galra prince. The two took a while to adjust to being awoken after years of being asleep and in hiding from the empire. They explained the situation and from that day on, the group and decided to defend against the Altean empire.

About a year later the group had discovered the core reality and also Voltron. Hiro had asked Romelle if they had something like it within their reality. She told him they did but it was destroyed by the galra to prevent the Alteans from having even more power than they did. He and Romelle snuck onto Altea to find the original blueprints for Voltron for Hiroshi to modify. He had expressed interest in building an updated version of Voltron that he had named project Artemis. It would be composed of 8 mech animals that would work the same way as Voltron. He took a while to build it with Isamu but when it was done it was all worth it. He now pilots the right arm of Artemis, Apollo. He had eventually discovered his heritage was Baltonian thanks to a run in with Samuel Holt, the Altean scientist behind the hoktrils, that not only allowed him to enter his true Baltonian form but also caused him to lose his leg.
