-Rangel is an adventurous sort, desiring to tackle everything that comes with becoming a trainer.
-she avoids shortcuts, would rather walk the whole journey on foot if it meant experiencing all the world had to offer.

She planned to set out on her journey when she was 10 but was postponed when she missed her chance to pick her starter due to catching the flue instead. She chooses Jiro (Torchic) after believing his boastful statements about his strength, thinking he would be the one she could help become a champion.

Rangel and Jiro's relation ship is similar to brother and sister, they bicker at times bust still look out for each other. she makes it her priority to make sure her her Pokemon are as ready for anything as she is, making sure they are healthy, fed regularly, and get enough sleep. she encourages them to do their best but not to go overboard.
