Description
FINAL UPDATE: I'm for doing this but I have to make sure that no misses on this pic. Like I said, I did a bit rush-rush coloring. Also I've adjusted the width to make sure it's a real landscape oriental, thanks to the advice from phoenixleo .UPDATE: Due to one of the deviantArtists' advise, I've adjusted the heights and added the spiral so it completes the Independence Hall as you can see it right now. Also, I've polished this pic because I made a bit rush.
Or I wish to call it "Welcome to the Fight."
Here it is, my first contest artwork for the upcoming Homefront: the Revolution. I know it's a pretty rush-rush drawing and pretty much war-ravaged a bit but I did what I have to do, perfecting the artwork but constructive criticism is welcome.
As you can see here, I've drawn it carefully and avoiding the stock image of Philadelphia Hall as my choice from the official rules from the Internet which I used Google Earth on my iPad and draw it with my own way in the old fashion way: drawing with pencil and fine-liners as always. After that, I've digitally colored it today with Paint.net both in Black and White with Red and Blue of two flags. I have a colored version of this pic and if you want to see the colored version, I'll upload it for you if you want.Β
Adding to the artwork, I've drawn the Betsy Ross' American flag as part of the American Resistance's flag which it was inspired from Free Syrian Army's flag and Libyan resistance's flag now a recognized flag to the world as of today.
And speaking of the inspiration, I took it from the main menu's background from the first game as I remembered the time in 2011.
I hope they like this pic so wish me luck for the contest. But for now before my artwork is made to the entries, enjoy my artwork.

Since the moment Kaos shut down, even with the cliffhanger left by the end of the first Homefront's campaing, I haven't thought one moment that this game would have a sequel.
What I fear with this game is the multiplayer: will the American army be replaced by the resistants?
I like the M4 here, even with the magazine that seems to be bigger at the end. However, I don't feel comfortable with the dude's haircut holding it.

Thanks for pointing the M4 Carbine. Guess I made a little bit bigger of that magazine. As for the resistance fighter's haircut, that's my art style. :/ But I welcome your constructive critique.
I agree with you about Kaos Studio's shut down after their second and last game with the cliffhanger ending. I have thought that they could release the single-player DLC campaign to expand the story but it didn't happened. Now we have a sequel of that game and I've seen the trailer two or three years ago. Not only to that, the game is much like a Call of Duty copy paste game. It need more storytelling like John Milius who directed Red Dawn and Apocalypse Now and he did a great job for his movie career.
Though I didn't played the multiplayer mode of the first game but I've seen the gameplay video on YouTube. Yes, and this time it's the Resistance Mode where you and your friends play as Resistance Fighters instead of the U.S. Army but you'll be equipped with the remnants of the American Army's equipment and outfits and you'll work together in the hit-and-run guerrilla tactics and missions narratives from the single-player campaign if I said it right.Β
Thanks for the comment. I appreciate it.

Wait, wasn't Homefront a mix between Call of Duty and Battlefield?
So, with what you said about the Resistance replacing the army, I developped a theory.
Since I played Homefront (via the 30 minutes trial spam on Onlive. ), I think the multiplayer is the prequel to the campaing, since the US military are in deep trouble until the final mission. Should I mention that the campaing was cliche as hell?
No problem. Keep up the good work.

Hold on a second. You said a mix of Call of Duty and Battlefield? I didn't know... Wait! Now that you mentioned it, there was a helicopter mission where you have to fly to San Francisco where the U.S. Military forces are taking the city back from the North Koreans. Thanks for reminding me.
Yes, it's a bunch of clichΓ©s and stuff but what are you going to do. :/
And of course, thank you for the comment. I'll keep up the good work.
