Description

The Aegis Gundam was developed for the Atlantic Federation. It was stolen by ZAFT and piloted by Athrun Zala. The Aegis was designed as a commander unit with a Phase Shift Armor and a transforming ability. It's "mobile armor" attack form has a "Scylla" 580mm Multi-phase Energy Cannon. in MS mode it has a High Energy Beam Rifle, shield and four built-in beam sabers for each limb. Athrun Zala activated the self-destruct destroying the Aegis in a battle against Kira Yamato and his Aile Strike Gundam.

This is my most recent Gunpla and it took over 7 hours to build (I took a break for dinner in the middle of the build). It is hard to transform it into MA from and once again the hands could have been designed better (I like MG Strike Freedom's hands).
