-----
Number: CT-7477

Nick-Name: Dex
Rank: Clone Commander
Sub-Type: ARC Trooper

Homeworld: Kamino

Species: Clone Trooper (Human)

Gender: Male

Height: 6,5

Weight: 150 lb

Hair colour: Black, white dyed highlights

Eye colour: Orange-ish brown

Skin colour: Slightly Pale

Force User?: Yes
Notes:
Dex has a strong ability to hide his strong force-life from other Force-users (such as the Jedi or Sith), he's able to keep them from sensing him in the force. However, a Jedi master may be able to detect him in the force, but since Jedi Master's are unlikely to pay attention to one Clone out of millions, he goes mostly unnoticed. This ability is even useful after the Clone Wars to hide from the Sith.

Physical notes:

Clone commander CT-7477 is slighter taller then his Captain CT-7788, lean and fit, muscle build for endurance but not weight lifting, he is more agile and quick while maintaining the basic regulations needed for clone strength and fitness standards.

Clone Commander CT-7477 also has a noticeable scar on the left side of his face that travels down his jaw and neck. He claims it was from battle when his unit carrier ship crashed that shrapnel cut him, there are no reports of this shrapnel being removed by any official republic medical units. But on further investigation his general prevented us from going onwards, such the case was closed.

Clone Commander CT-7477 while in training on Kamino seemed to have a 'fourth sense' about many training obstacles and missions. As if he knew the layout before it was given, on investigation we found no evidence of him stealing from the database. He excelled at this class and to this day we the Kamino scientists do not understand where his skill comes from. Perhaps a flaw in the genetics?

Personality:

[Deep-Thinker]

"Well, I was just thinking... About, the life I guess? Is there a greater purpose? Or are we just more clones?"

Dex can often be found off by himself thinking, pondering, meditating when no one is around. He doesn't spend much time at 'parties' (as if clones had such things) or group gatherings that aren't related to the mission. Mostly spending his free time with those close to him or alone. He doesn't speak of his deeper philosophical thoughts to many, but if you look deeper your'll find someone who is seeking more then just the simple life of an another clone trooper soldier.

[Selfless]

"I'd die for General Trea, Flix, any of them without a second thought."

Dex thinks of his men the most, perhaps he's selfish in thinking of them over the mission, perhaps not. But he always tries to put their safety over his own, and feel guilt in thinking of himself too much. He doesn't like to feel bad for himself or focus on the past, feeling like he'll put himself over others. Finding it much easier to help others then even himself.

[Tactical]

"With respect Sir, I think if we spread our troops out with the fog, the enemy might just think us bigger then we are."

Dex is a clone commander and took to tactical training quickly and well, being more lean and lanky then most (but still fit) he takes after more brain than brawn so to speak. Smart, and quick, his tactics tend to be more gorilla-war-fare, fooling the enemy with sneaky and witty tactics than that of the straight-forward march approach. He prefers to try and preserve as many clones as he can by using better tactics, and not just throw armies out there to battle it out mindlessly.

[Respectful]

"I meant no offense, I simply wished to improve the effectiveness of your plan, my apologies for over-stepping. Sir."

Dex like all clones was taught to respect, he does just that, even to the people he doesn't like. He's good with using respectful fancy words to make even his insults sound like their polite compliments, those who has his real respect will know, because he will have no need to hide his praise under complex wording.

[Understanding]

"We all have lost to the war... But we can't let that stop us, we have to stick together soldier."

Dex is more compassionate then he might give in, wanting to try and help others. War is hard, and ever clone needs to stick together if they're going to got out of this alive. His enemies face Dex's anger, but his friends see more of his care and compassion.

[Untrusting]

"I doubt he cares whether we live or die, to him we're just cannon fodder, I don't trust him... But the mission comes first..."

Dex doesn't trust many and doesn't really let you know if he doesn't trust you, but if he does you'll know. He's always suspicious of people on first meeting and his trust is earned in time, not given out easily.

[Solcially Awkward]

"Oh... Uh... Did you want me to come with you? Or were just offering? Um er, did I miss a hint? I-I should just go, I'm not good at this... Um..."

Dex doesn't have good experience with socializing, especially with those outside of his unit. He can be rather awkward, and be totally oblivious to hints, subtle signs or signals, if you don't tell it to him in person, or pin a note to his forehead, he probably won't have a clue. He's not shy, just lacks experience.

[Sarcastic]

"That was a wonderful pun Flix, just wonderful, now....Shut up."

Dex's best social skill and icebreaker -sarcasm - its something he uses a lot, so if you want to hang out with him or join his unit you better get used to it ;D.

[Grumpy/Bitter]
"The Empire has taken everything away from me, my honor as a clone trooper, my companions... Our companions, used us, control us, as nothing more than tools. You expect me to forgive them? No, I won't."

Dex has some bitterness in his heart, not something he would talk about easily, as he grows perhaps he will learn to release it. But at this time, it seems not, this sometimes makes him rather grumpy or bitter sounding when talking about The Empire, or The Republic government depending on time period.

Loyalty:

55% loyal to his troops, friends, and his assigned Jedi General Trea.

45% to the republic government and/or Rebels (depending on time)

Rough History

Dex is a very old character of mine and has a LOT of history all in my head and private role-plays with my bro and such. So I really can't write it ALL down, but I've compiled a rough point-outline you can read to get some ideas of his history, at least the important stuff ^_^.

  • Dex was part of an experiment where they tried to clone force-user DNA into the template of Boba Fett. This experiment was done by a small secret group of scientists who were sworn to secrecy by the one who paid them to do this. This led to many horrifically mutated clones, to such extent that the project was scheduled to shut down, Dex came out of the last batch of clones and was the only one who appeared normal as can be - too normal - In fact, in his early years his Midi-Chlorian (the 'force gene' if you will) levels were fairly normal. Rather then waste a good clone they shoved him in with the others and pretended like his origin never existed.
  • As his training went on, it seemed his Midi-Chlorian levels... Increased, slowly. Towards the end of his training, he started to have a 'fourth sense' but the group of scientists couldn't let the others know! So they brushed it off, hiding any data related to Dex's force powers. If the others found out... Their lives would be cut short, besides, if no one taught him, surely he would never learn to use them anyway? Besides, he's a clone, he'll probably die before anyone ever finds out.... Right?
  • Then the Clone Wars broke out, and the clones were called to battle, his first battle being Geniosa. He was pushed into a unit as the commander - what he was trained to be - and they were shoved out into their first battle. And a deadly one at that.
  • During the battle, Dex's team went to help a pinned down unit not far from them, by the time they arrived, they were all dead... Except one. A clone captain that went by the name of Flix, he was pinned down by a rock the body of his Sargent covering him, hiding him from the sight of the Geniosaions. Muttering nonsense, trembling wildly, fearful, afraid, confused.
  • They pulled him out of there, when the battle was over Dex went to go see him personally, Flix was in danger of being sent back to Kamino for being mentally unfit for duty. Dex didn't know what they would do to him, but he felt all Flix needed was a friend. He had seen this Flix fight in the training on Kamino, he was a good fighter. So He went and spoke to him, Flix shared how his entire team had died in front of him. The memory would be forever burned in his mind, Dex let him talk, let him go through it all, and was just there to help him. The thing he said when it was all done that gave Flix hope was "They died in honor, even in death they protected you, so you could live on and continue honoring them in your life..." Flix pondered this.
  • Dex continued to visit him, and within weeks Flix's mental state was... Stable. Much better for sure, not healed, but better, the two clones soon became like flesh and blood brothers. Dex sent in a request to have Flix become his new captain, having lost his captain during the battle. Soon, the two brothers were off together fighting battles, playing games in their free time and constantly picking on each other, they were and still are inseparable.

  • Dex's unit was assigned to Jedi General Trea, at first he didn't like him, not sure how to feel about these 'Jedi'. But he obeyed as told and after the first few missions he started to trust him, as time went on Trea suspected something about Dex was... Off. Dex did too, though not fully aware himself. It wasn't any 'big' things, mostly small things, dodging a rocket, knowing when danger was before it actually was, jumping higher than most, moving quicker... They could be explained, but as they piled up. Trea got suspicious, that, plus he could sense something in Dex... The Force.
  • Finally, one-day Trea asked the question, Dex got annoyed and tried to walk out, but after move, arm-twisting (vocally) and pushing Dex finally told him the truth. Expecting him to send him back to Kamino to experiment on more... But instead. Trea took him under his wing, and offered to teach him the ways of a Jedi, at least when it was safe, luckily Flix already knew so it was easy when they were by themselves to teach him.
  • Dex and his unit went on a lot of missions during the Clone Wars, too many to count. But with each one, they grew closer.

  • Towards the end of the Clone Wars, Trea and his team were sent on a mission that ended up leading them to find an underground sith base. They ran into quite some interesting... Horrors and experiments being done on humans and robots alike. Due to being deep underground and the protection the base had, when order 66 was given neither Dex, nor Flix, heard the order and were unaccepted, later having their chips removed. Having barely escaped alive, imagine their surprise when they did... To find the massacre that had unfolded...

  • Some time ahead... They now worked with the Rebels... Sorta anyway. What will happen now? Who knows? This will be fleshed out more, but what I do know is that Dex in the time after the clone wars starts investigating the legends of the Gray Jedi, and soon starts learning to become one himself.
  • At some point meets MustangLegends 's Walker and ChibiCreates 's Lore LINK  (???) And Nythero Jawa
  • Dex forms a rebel cell with Jedi Trea, Rook a Mandalorian 'mercenary' (previous mercenary but she won't admit it), Flix, and a Wookie called Mabacaa.
