This is a slight attempt at doing 3dish effects totally in photoshop...actually though I'd much prefer to render the rods on the ends in a 3d program because I think these came out pretty craptastic. Submitting it anyway just for other comments.Related content

The Bolt Charge looks great, as a 3d render it could look better... but it does look good. The Rods are, well... it's hard to say, because they look matte and very 2D but at the same time they don't look overwhelmingly 2d as to ruin the image. I'd like to see it as a full render perhapse. It's good, I like it.
