Description
After receiving a gaming laptop for Christmas, I'm now finally able to run that copy of A Hat in Time I got two years ago at a higher speed than two frames a minute! And was it worth it? Heck yes, it's a really fun game that lives up to its positive reception. Between the creative settings, smooth gameplay (for the most part), great voice acting, and overall charm, it really made me feel like a Nintendo-loving kid again.

Anyways, the game's given me plenty of fanart ideas, one of which was this eight-panel comic inspired by Vanessa's Manor. To give some context behind the setup here, Hat Kid's asked her friend Bow Kid to watch over her ship while she retrieves her lost Time Pieces. After a rather (extremely) frightening encounter with Queen Vanessa, Hat Kid's left just a little bit shaken, but she thankfully has the comfort of her best pal to return to.

My first real attempt at a digital comic, and I think it turned out pretty decently.
