I love how Ira-Arn depicted him controlling the flames in this artwork. I'm tempted to get a copy printed and framed, lol.

Draythix belongs to me, please don't use him without permission!

The half-dragon stands in the middle of a vast field of golden flames. Though the waves of heat and blinding light make it impossible for you to come near, Draythix is completely unscathed. With a wave of his talons the flames dance and weave, obeying his every whim with hardly a sign of effort showing on his face.

Unable to help but be transfixed by the dancing flames, you watch the dragon practice his control over them for several minutes before he notices you. "I wish you had told me you were over there," he says with a grimace, "I might have burned you by accident."

Despite seeming annoyed at being interrupted, he clenches one of his fists and the flames are immediately drawn towards Draythix. They flow into his wings and spines as if being vacuumed up, and it only takes a moment for them all to disappear. The dragon glows like the sun for a few moments as he absorbs the energy, and then finally the light fades away and it seems safe to approach.
