Description
After trudging through a field full of stinging nettles to get a few useless shots I got back to my car and found I was carry a little guest on my tripod. I knocked it off onto the car roof and thought it looked cool to see an insect like this in an environment you wouldn't expect.It's sharpness is on about the limit I would call acceptable, it had to be cropped alot as my lens doesn't do a brilliant job at macro stuff

I like the idea of the shot, but there is something that bothers me about it. I think its the highlites where the (flash?) reflected off its exoskeleton being too harsh. I'd try this shot again if you can get your hands on a macro lense or camera. And then play around with the lighting
