t is a shell script I have been playing with for years now to make all of the wallpapers in my collection here. This one picks random images from a given directory and scales, rotates, adds the frames and pastes the images semi-randomly. Most of it is done using netpbm. The cast shadows on a non-rectanglular shape (i.e. tilted) were hard to do.
One of these days I need to rewrite the whole thing in Perl or something that I can make it sharable. Right now it is too cobbled together to be able to install on a different machine.
