Well... what can I say about this one? It's a landscape, for one thing. I've had this illustration in my head for a while, and now I've gotten to the point where I decided to try and draw it. The truth is, though...

I'm not sure if I like how it turned out. I think, perhaps the final illustration diverged too much from how I had it in my head. Having said that... I do think It's a pretty good drawing. Hurm...

I just don't know. Well, in any case, I may yet get to a point where I can really get my drawings to how I see them in my head. I think that, at the very least, this is a small step in that direction. It's going to take some monumental effort to get to the point of those masters of the craft.

I actually find it quite interesting. I consider myself fairly well versed in drawing, but I had no idea just how much work it would take to get to where I was before, to even this point right here.

I feel like I'm almost there. Like, I'm almost to the point where I can draw some seriously high quality artwork. But then I look at just how much work it took to get to even this point, and I wonder if I really am almost there. Perhaps I am, but then I hear that the closer you are to being truly good, the harder it is to improve. I know I can do it. I just...really want it so badly. Haha. XD

By the way... I'm about halfway done with pencilling in the next page for my webcomic, KolodruidTale: Epilogues. So you guys can expect the next page to come down the pipe within the next few days. I'm not following any strict update schedule for the webcomics, so they'll be coming out as I finish each page.

One last thing. This illustration you see here is not actually set in my fantasy world of Kolodrwynn. Instead, this is a location in another fantasy world which I am just beginning to work on. The shadows and forms of this world are just beginning to take form. It isn't nearly as detailed as the world of the Kolodrwynn.

I will say, however, that both the world of the Kolodrwynn, and this world, the world of the Wohlodweisse, share the same solar system.
