I still don't have a scanner *sighs*so this is another shoddy digital photo! I must remedy this soon if this is going to become a frequent thing, which I feel it very possibly will.
Anyway, basically I was trying to practice my drawing 'skills' (i use the word lightly) and was practicing faces in particular when somehow this developed into some sort of vague Hermione-ish girl. I take this as a clear sign that I have been reading waaay to much fanfic!
I kinda see it as one of her many angsty moments; perhaps after she runs out after setting her little tweety birds on poor misguided Ron!!
I know it's barely recognizable as human let alone as Hermione, but I was hoping maybe someone can give me some pointers on where I'm going wrong!? Any hints or tips greatly accepted! For instance i think she resembles something from Planet of the Apes!? Maybe because of her enormously oversized eyes and her lips?

** Ok, So I made her eyes smaller as they were bugging me too much!! (OCD set in a little!) You can still kind see how big it was before as I pressed to hard with the pencil, a bad habit of mine that I keep doing before I'm finished! This is also why i didn't try to change her mouth although I don't think it looks quite so big now her eyes are smaller!? **
