Description Here's a tutorial explaining some more advanced features of shading. I don't know if I'm good at explaining things but I hope it's helpful.

Before reading you should have a good idea about shading already since there are things that I can't explain unless you know the simpler things.

See these tutorials first unless you're already familiar with basic shading:
Shading technique: [link]
Casting shadows: [link]

And here are some complementary tutorials that you can look at after reading mine:

Global lighting: [link]

I was very short with the reflections part because one could dedicate a whole tutorial to that alone. There's a lot more to it. The reflections I taught in this tutorial are OK for curved surfaces, but a more in-depth look at the subject is required to work with more complex surfaces.
This tutorial is not to be reposted anywhere.

I'm with ~Ihtiander . I didn't know that glossy object usually reflect off of other objects in there vicinity. I had an idea but I didn't grasp it very well. Now I have a clearer understanding of it which is now more flexible. Thanks DT!
