So here we have my UDON's Art of Capcom 2 contribution. A massive undertaking which I will probably never do again lol. Anyways, this has every character in it from the Street Fighter, Darkstalkers, Rival Schools and Final Fight games. I tried my best to get everyone but perhaps I missed one or two.Anyways, check out my blog VED! for more information about it along with some step by steps.
It's a double page spread in the book and I was thinking of making prints of it. What do you guys think?

Man, what an immense project. I don't even want to know how many hours went into this... but it was all worth it in my opinion. Love the primarily SFIII representings in the front (Woo Elena!

I always loved these pieces purely because I love trying to find each character in it. Initially I thought Deejay, Seth and Hakan weren't in it but after another glance I caught glimpse of them.

I got some of the original Art books from Japan, but i always wondered why UDON only does the SF, DS, RS, Mm stuff only since theres SO much Capcom has done in the last 30 years. I guess its all the American releases only.

Those are the titles that UDON has licensed at this point. Each book is expensive to license, so we have to limit the number of titles we release, especially the obscure ones.
Still, we are releasing a more than ever before. Some examples:

Power Stone
Magic Sword
Onimusha 1-3, dawn of dreams, and tactics
Sengoku Basara/ Devil Kings
Strider 1 + 2
Captain Commando
I understand its expensive, and im prolly in the minorities who looks for the UDON books. Oh well

For games like Breath of Fire, Magic Sword, Strider, Power Stone and Captain Commando we have to worry about low sales because there isn't a big modern audience for those titles and no new games are in development as far as we know.
Dungeons & Dragons, Aliens VS Predator and Marvel games have extra licensing problems because other companies are involved who own those titles, not just Capcom. That means a lot more money and legal hassle.
Onimusha and Basara are two titles we're looking at releasing art books for, but they haven't been finalized yet.
