this is a copic marker commission of michael turners aspeni just started using these copic markers and they are amazing and expensive to use...i can believe the range they have...so far there isnt a texture i havent been able to do with these....rocks, water, cloth....
sorry i have been gone for so long....holidays and all u know...plus i have some news for those of u that care..my love has moved in with me...so that turned my life upside down..and we are now engaged...and we couldnt be more happy....needless to say i dont have as much time to post those novel long descriptions anymore....which is too bad cause i learned a lot the last few i did...i have about 12-15 full copic's under my belt which in not a lot but i feel i learned a great deal...
i was asked to do a sexy aspen for a female fan of mine and for some reason this came out...not realyl sexy at all....oh well...
the only thing not done in copic's is the sun beems that was done in white charcoal pencil and some of the bubbles were done in white paint type crap...
im very happy with this piece cause i had the balls enough to try something ive never attempted b4, im not a colorist or a painter and have done nothing similar to this....but those who watch me have read that i dont let fear stop me from growing....
it was not easy fading a blue into skin tone with markers and no experience...
anyways...im off to go have some sex with my fiance

Yes, i have been playing the guitar for 9 years now and i decided to get a cheap electric bass guitar too for home recordings. I have 2 E-Guitars, 2 Acoustic ones and now one E-Bass as well

On a little different note, in one of your other works, you mentioned that no one has inked your art before...
Well, I draw myself and I am currently designing a tattoo for myself and yesterday, I saw your drawing of Witchblade (Snake Like), which is amazing, by far one of the best I have see in a while, and would like to use an element from it in my design...
My design is based on several works I am combining into one, several of them (most of them) are Michael Turners. The tat itself is about water manipulation, with Aspen, altered a little of course, and the "tentacles" from your drawing, or rather the witchblade itself, would be perfect for my design, with small alterations, that is...hope you don't mind...
And, I promise to show you once it is completed...

I just have to comment as Fathom and in general Aspen's work are big faves of mine, i think you got Aspen ( the girl from Fathom ) down very well! and i say that after seeing tons of drawings of her from guest artists over at Aspen comics ( they release a little sketchbook ish comic every season of the year filled with tons of artists takes on the characters ) hell i'd go as far as to say you should totally take over from the guy currently working on the series!
the only comment i'll say is that i think while it's correct in drawing something doesn't "feel" right which is her foot ( left one ) maybe it's the shape but somehow doesn't feel overly woman-ish if you know what i mean?
other then that i love the piece, you even got down Michael Turner's hand style ( he drew some great hands on his characters ) and the colors turned out great!
I've used Copics myself and compared to other markers they are the best, you really do get a great range of color and shade just from one marker so keep using em!
but yeah that being said it's expensive! just remember though, i'm from Canada and i have to pay about $8 a marker! i think it goes for $6 in the US?

thanks for saying such, but i fear i will never draw fathom for contract reasons...but thats cool i dont want to follow turner anyway....
and feet to me are just feel...i'd rather look at an ass than feet...so im very good at them i guess
depends on where u go...i get mine really cheap...for 4 .95 each and refills for 6...but its a drive...so if i need an emergency one i go to the art store alot closer and its 7 .49 each
