Description
Bought this handsome man (no.9) from PacificDash and felt like giving him a full ref sheet - made a few minor adjustments to his original design, but mostly just matching up his aesthetic to his rider and getting to grips with his markings on both sides <3 Been a long time since I drew an equine, phew.

Another timelapse for this one - I'm going to be trying to record most pieces that I complete from here out <3 Enjoy!!

Backstory:  Earthbound Kelpie - more later.
Family: Unknown

Hidden Detail:

- Lexi's teeth are NOT NORMAL TEETH - he has the dental structure of a dog with enlarged canines
- His mane and tail can be braided when his tack is off as well
- Back feathers can also be shown clipped, Front feathers can be long

Basic Personality:

The precise opposite of his owner, Lexi is ornery, impatient, and bordering on dangerous to ride. While bombproof to a fault; best to keep him moving, stopping at traffic lights, standing quietly to take in the view, patiently waiting for his rider to get on... yeah... that's a no. Lexi knows his own strength and is not afraid to use it, unluckily for him his rider is strong enough to deal with that kind of behaviou. He may be earthbound, but a Kelpie is still a Kelpie.

Need to Know Facts:

- Lexi is a familiar, his Fell affinity allows him to affect (but not control) nearby lightsources - anything from a gas fire to a neon sign, if it glows, Lexi's current mood will cause it to alter. Extreme emotions may overload, or blow out lights in his vaccinity to a radius of about 10 meters - other observed affects include brightening, flickering, dimming, strobing, or something even complete extinguishing.
- Carnivorous. He's a Kelpie- the closer it tastes to Human the better as far as he's concerned
- His terrestrial form is that of a large Percheron stallion - He's not particuarly fast, or particuarly agile, but good lord can he make space in a crowd.
- Lexi wasnt born with his white markings, they appeared after he formed his familiar bond with his rider
- A very one person pony, does not seem to particuarly like people in general - keep clear of his back end.
- Dark Magic and Fell Affinity - Kelpies are not common, and not well liked.
- Lexi's owner is bias blind - as far as he's concerned, Lexi is an angel who can do no wrong. Oh? He stood on your foot? Well you shouldn't have been standing so close then should you!
